While rising star of Bollywood, Kartik Aaryan, has been retained from the 2011 hit comedy, Pyaar Ka Punchnama, newcomers, Omkar Kapoor and Sunny Singh Nijjar, will be featuring alongside him in the much-anticipated follow-up installment.
“I had to ensure that the actors share a similar rapport that the earlier cast had. So, we conducted workshops where the boys chilled out with each other for eight hours every day for six months, before we started shooting. Kartik made sure that Sunny and Omkar felt at home. The trio went for a vacation to Goa to celebrate Kartik’s birthday. They had a blast at my sister’s wedding too. Their off-screen friendship has translated well onscreen,” director Luv Ranjan explains.
