Good news, Spider-fans! Spider-Man will be back in the MCU as the dispute between Sony Pictures and Marvel studios has now come to an end. The two companies have come to a deal in order to produce a third film following the continuity of the MCU.
Many are relieved that this is the case; Kevin Feige will be producing the movie with Amy Pascal but we do not yet know who will be directing. Jon Watts, director of the previous two may be joining but it hasn’t been confirmed. The third film will be swinging onto our screens in the 16th of July 2021.
Moreover, there will also be new Marvel films featuring Spider-Man even if we haven’t been given an inclination on what ones those might be. We will continue to give updates as they arrive.
