The events take place on March 13th Bradford, 14th March in London, and 15th March in Kent to celebrate GLT’s 35th anniversary
The Graham Layton Trust is delighted to welcome Pakistan’s Coke Studio sensation Komal Rizvi to support their series of fundraising events in March to mark their 35th Anniversary.
Komal is one of Pakistan’s leading female vocalists with a career spanning two decades. Known for her electrifying live performances, her songs include pop, folk and bhangra. Both of her nostalgic renditions of the Sufi classic Lal Meri Path and Lambi Judaai featured on the Top 10 all-time hits of Coke Studio. Komal is the only female singer to be featured twice on this list.
The Graham Layton Trust, one of the UK’s leading charities in Pakistan, has now provided free eye care to more than 44 million patients in Pakistan. The Graham Layton Trust (GLT) is the fundraising arm of Layton Rahmatulla Benevolent Trust (LRBT), the largest free eye care provider in Pakistan.
The Graham Layton Trust is an award-winning charity committed to the free treatment of curable blindness and visual impairment in Pakistan, and now in its milestone 35th year, an incredible 44 million patients have received life-changing eye care and sight restoration.
Trustee Art Malik will host the events and is a passionate supporter of the work of the charity in its aims to restore sight and transform lives in Pakistan.
