Gulabo Sitabo streaming from 12^th June 2020 on Amazon Prime Video

Shoojit Sircar’s quirky dramedy Gulabo Sitabo starring Amitabh Bachchan and Ayushmann Khurrana will premiere across 200 countries and territories on Amazon Prime Video on June 12, 2020.

Here is an short Q&A with Shri Amitabh Bachchan.

1.  How did Gulabo Sitabo come about and why did you decide to get involved?

Amitabh Bachchan: GiBoSiBo came to me from Shoojit Sarkar, and when he chooses for me I never disagree, I follow him blindly, and go along.

2.  The film is streaming on 12 June – what has the reaction been like from fans?

Amitabh Bachchan: It shall be difficult for me to say what and how the fans are going to react. One hopes and prays of course that they like the film, which is a given expectation, is it not?

3.  Do you see much of yourself in Mirza?

Amitabh Bachchan: No!

4.  How was it starring alongside Ayushmann? Did you bond off set?

Amitabh Bachchan: It has been a pleasure and an honour to be with Ayushmann on set and as a co artist. We did not have much time off set to mingle, but I am certain that when we do it shall be equally pleasurable. 

 5.  What was your favourite moment from behind the scenes?

Amitabh Bachchan: Watching and learning the craft of the other artists and the diligence of the technical and management team of the Production.
