Starring Nushrratt Bharuccha & Rajkummar Rao, the Global Premiere of Chhalaang is this week 13th November 2020 exclusively on Amazon Prime Video
Anticipation is growing by the day since the trailer of Nushrratt Bharuccha and Rajkummar Rao starrer Chhalaang. From rap challenges to reminiscing about their school days, the stars are all rearing to go for its release. The leading lady, in particular, seems to have taken this film as a learning curve and thanks no one else but his leading man.
Nushrratt Bharuccha says,
“I worked with him Love Sex Aur Dhokha (LSD) with him but we didn’t star opposite each other. Working with Rajkummar was a learning experience, it was an eye-opener. He has done so many roles, his filmography is so diverse, he is very enriched as an actor, he knows exactly what to do, how to do. I was watching him from behind the monitor, I was watching him in front of me, it just made me feel like I am now going to become a better actor. I will take some things back from his performance and put them into my own performances.”
Mentioning her nerves about working with such a multi-talented actor, Nushhratt has nothing but praise for Rajkummar. Even though it’s the first time that Nushrratt and Rajkumar are paired together romantically for the screens.
Directed by Hansal Mehta, Chhalaang is a hilarious, yet inspirational journey of a PT master from a semi government funded school in Northern India. Montu (Rajkummar Rao) is a typical PT master for whom it’s just a job. When circumstances put everything that Montu cares for at stake, including Neelu (Nushrratt Bharuccha) who he loves, Montu is forced to do what he has never done – Teach.
Releasing this Diwali on Friday, November 13, 2020, Chhalaang is part of the festive line up for The Great Indian Festival available across 200 countries and territories only on Amazon Prime Video.
