The film, which has faced multiple delays, is set to clash with Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff starrer “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan,” also scheduled for an Eid release. “Maidaan,” helmed by director Amit Sharma and produced by Boney Kapoor, Akash Chawla, Arunava Joy Sengupta, and Zee Studios, features Devgn in the lead role of football coach Syed Abdul Rahim.
