Oasis has announced additional concert dates in Manchester, London, and Edinburgh for their much-awaited 2025 reunion tour. Following overwhelming demand during the pre-sale registration, the band revealed they will be playing at Heaton Park, Manchester, on 16 July, Wembley Stadium, London, on 30 July, and Murrayfield Stadium, Edinburgh, on 12 August.

The reunion tour marks the first time the Gallagher brothers will share the stage since their dramatic split in 2009. Noel Gallagher broke the news on X, highlighting the unprecedented demand that led to the addition of these new dates. “The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised,” the band declared in a joint statement, echoing the excitement that has surrounded the announcement.

The pre-sale ballot for the show saw a massive influx of entries. While the ballot has now closed, general ticket sales are set to begin on Saturday. Ticket prices are expected to be announced ahead of the sale.

The UK and Ireland leg of the tour will kick off at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium in July, with the band also set to perform multiple shows at Heaton Park, Wembley, and Murrayfield, as well as at Dublin’s Croke Park. The reunion will extend beyond the UK, with plans for additional dates outside Europe, though specific details have yet to be revealed.

Speculation had been rife that Oasis would headline Glastonbury or other major festivals next year, but the band put those rumors to rest, saying, “Despite media speculation, Oasis will not be playing Glastonbury 2025 or any other festivals next year.”

As fans prepare for what promises to be one of the most significant tours in recent memory, Oasis’s music has seen a resurgence in popularity, with streaming platforms reporting a substantial spike in listens. The band’s statement hinted that the timing of the reunion might have been influenced by the 30th anniversary of their debut album, ‘Definitely Maybe’.
