The three-time Grammy-winning artist shared the exciting news with her fans, affectionately known as “Hotties,” via Instagram.
“Hotties,” Stallion, born Megan Pete, announced in her post, wrote, “my documentary is out Oct 31st💜 I’m nervous and excited for y’all to see it butttt it’s finally here 🥹.” Accompanying the announcement was a striking image of the rapper adorned in a jeweled choker and glamorous makeup, illuminated by a spotlight.
The timing of the release is no accident as Halloween holds a special place in Stallion’s heart and has been embraced by her superfans, with the day affectionately referred to as “Hottieween.” Stallion has celebrated in style, organizing pop-up concerts, including this year’s event in Chicago, and sharing her signature tradition of donning a carved pumpkin on her head each year.
Directed by Emmy-winning filmmaker Nneka Onuorah, known for Lizzo’s Watch Out for the Big Grrrls, the documentary promises an intimate glimpse into Stallion’s life. It explores her rise to fame while tackling themes of grief, pressure, and success. Recently, Stallion has made headlines as part of Pepsi’s revival of the iconic “We Will Rock You” campaign, originally launched by pop legends Britney Spears, Beyoncé, and Pink 20 years ago. Her fresh rendition of the Queen classic features in an NFL season TV spot alongside actors Lamorne Morris, Jake Lacy, and Travis Kelce, tying in with the forthcoming Ridley Scott-directed Gladiator II.
