Khan Duo’s D’YAVOL INCEPTION whisky crowned ‘Best Overall Scotch’ at 2024 NY World Spirits Competition

D’YAVOL, co-founded by Shah Rukh Khan and Aryan Khan, has secured top honors at the 2024 New York World Spirits Competition, earning both ‘Best Overall Scotch’ and ‘Best of Class’ Blended Malt Scotch Whisky for its flagship whisky, INCEPTION. The recognition, awarded by a panel of seasoned industry professionals, celebrates the whisky’s exceptional quality and craftsmanship.

“INCEPTION’s award at the New York World Spirits Competition is a testament to the belief that the finest things in life are crafted with care and passion,” said Shah Rukh Khan, reflecting on the brand’s achievement.

INCEPTION, a blend of eight rare single malts from Speyside, Highland, Lowland, and Island regions, is aged up to 12 years, with select portions matured in Tawny Port and Madeira casks. Launched in 2023, it is non-chill filtered, preserving its authentic flavors and character. The whisky boasts complex notes of dark chocolate, dried fruit, oak spice, smoked wood, ripe plums, and spiced vanilla, culminating in a gentle smokiness.
