Sky Announces Premiere Date for The Last of Us Season Two and Official Teaser Posters
The highly anticipated second season of the Emmy®-winning drama series The Last of Us is set to premiere exclusively on Sky and streaming service NOW on Monday, 14 April. Spanning seven episodes, the new season promises to take viewers deeper into its harrowing post-apocalyptic world.
Set five years after the events of the first season, Joel (Pedro Pascal) and Ellie (Bella Ramsey) must navigate an increasingly dangerous and unpredictable landscape while grappling with personal conflicts that test their bond.
Returning cast members include Pedro Pascal as Joel, Bella Ramsey as Ellie, Gabriel Luna as Tommy, and Rutina Wesley as Maria. They will be joined by newly announced cast members Kaitlyn Dever as Abby, Isabela Merced as Dina, Young Mazino as Jesse, Ariela Barer as Mel, Tati Gabrielle as Nora, Spencer Lord as Owen, Danny Ramirez as Manny, and Jeffrey Wright as Isaac. Emmy and Golden Globe-winning actress Catherine O’Hara will also guest star.
Based on the critically acclaimed video game franchise developed by Naughty Dog for PlayStation®, The Last of Us is co-created and executive produced by Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann. The series is produced in collaboration with Sony Pictures Television alongside PlayStation Productions, Word Games, Mighty Mint, and Naughty Dog. Additional executive producers include Carolyn Strauss, Jacqueline Lesko, Cecil O’Connor, Asad Qizilbash, Carter Swan, and Evan Wells, with Halley Gross serving as writer and co-executive producer.
With tensions rising and new threats emerging, season two of The Last of Us promises to be an unmissable chapter in the acclaimed series.
