As the semifinals happened, Argentina thrashed Paraguay with a 6-1 win and Chile beat Peru 2-1 in the first semifinal of the tournament.
The third placed match took place last night where Peru triumphed 2-0 and earned the third spot. Possibly, the heavy loss from Argentina carried away the confidence in the Paraguay camp.
Tonight is the final of the Copa America Chile 2015 between the hosts Chile and the favourites Argentina. While Argentina is coming into the game after an extremely good performance by them against Paraguay and are soaring high with confidence, Chile is coming from a tough win against Peru but will have the huge home crowd support with them.
With today’s game, Argentina aim to end their wait of 22 years and claim another Copa America title after the long drought while Chile will look to win their first ever Copa America and do it famously on their home soil.
The game will be the battle between the existent giant, Argentina and the emerging star, Chile.
