Actress Shruti Haasan celebrated the New Year with her traditional Closet Sale, proceeds of which will be contributed toward the welfare of children living with HIV/AIDS. This sale also offers fans a chance to own the actress’s personal favorites.

Explaining the significance of this tradition, Shruti Haasan said, “This tradition has grown very close to my heart. For me, it’s a reminder that we can keep finding many ways to give back and share our celebrations with those in need. It’s also a special way for me to connect with my fans, so we can come together to support something important, all while sharing a bit of each other’s lives.”

The proceeds from the sale will go to Desire Society, an organization founded by Ravi Babu G, who expressed gratitude, saying, “We’re grateful to Shruti for supporting our beneficiaries – over 200 very special orphan children living with HIV; and for raising awareness about this cause. Thank you, Shruti, for setting this example of how to embody the festive spirit!”

The exclusive pieces from Shruti Haasan’s collection are available for purchase online through the social enterprise Dolce Vee, whose founder, Komal Hiranandani, said, “Fans have been eagerly awaiting this year’s drop by Shruti, and it’s been wonderful to see shoppers genuinely connecting with the cause while they shop.”

Despite her schedule, including promotions for Salaar, and preparations for her upcoming pan-India release, the actress remains committed to advocating and promoting this initiative.
