Good news for all you ‘Mission: Impossible’ fans, the latest movie in the Tom Cruise action movie franchise will be available on Paramount+ very soon.
The seventh “Mission: Impossible” movie ‘Dead Reckoning’ will be available on the Paramount+ network starting January 25 in the US and Canada. It will arrive in additional international markets beginning in February.
Notably, the original title of the film was “Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One,” however, it is now called “Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning.” The changes in the name come after the upcoming eighth movie, which was originally subtitled “Dead Reckoning Part Two,” was delayed over a year. The movie which was supposed to release on June 28, 2024, will now be released on May 23, 2025. It will reportedly get a new title.
The “Dead Reckoning” poster, featuring Tom Cruise, Hayley Atwell, Rebecca Ferguson, Pom Klementieff, Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames, Esai Morales and Vanessa Kirby, also removed the “Part One” from its title.
In the new movie, “Ethan Hunt and his IMF team embark on their most dangerous mission yet: to track down a terrifying new weapon that threatens all of humanity before it falls into the wrong hands. With the fate of the world at stake, a deadly race around the globe begins. Confronted by a mysterious, all-powerful enemy, Ethan is forced to consider that nothing can matter more than his mission – not even the lives of those he cares about most.”
“Dead Reckoning” was produced by Cruise, Paramount and Skydance, and was directed by Christopher McQuarrie, who will also direct “Mission: Impossible 8”. The eighth movie in the franchise is expected to bring back many of the “Dead Reckoning” cast members to finish their missions against a world-threatening AI
