Amazon MGM Studios and MRC have finalised the star cast of their upcoming action thriller G20, a project produced by and starring Viola Davis. According to reports, the production of the project has resumed, and the star-studded lineup includes Anthony Anderson, who recently hosted a well-received Emmys ceremony. Other cast members include Marsai Martin, Ramón Rodríguez, Antony Starr, Douglas Hodge, Elizabeth Marvel, Sabrina Impacciatore, Clark Gregg, Christopher Farrar, John Hoogenakker, and MeeWha Alana Lee.
Besides the star-studded lineup, Theo Bongani Ndyalvane, Conrad Kemp, Joseph Steven Yang, Emmanuel Castis, David James and Noxolo Dlamini have also joined the cast.
Patricia Riggen, who is known for making ‘The 33’ will direct ‘G20’. The action-packed movie follows the terrorists’ overtake of the G20 Summit and American President Taylor Sutton’s action of bringing all her statecraft and military experience to defend her family, her fellow leaders and the world.
The script was written by Noah and Logan Miller and revisions were done by Caitlin Parrish, Erica Weiss, and Jason Hall. The film is being produced under the collaboration of Mad Chance’s Andrew Lazar and JuVee Productions’ Davis and Julius Tennon.
