Rapper Snoop Dogg caused quite a scandal when in an interview he said that he only has “love and respect” for the former president of the United States Donald Trump. In an interview with The Sunday Times of London, the rapper said that he has respect for the man who “has only done great things for me.” “He ain’t done nothing wrong to me. He has done only great things for me. He pardoned Michael Harris,” Snoop Dogg said. Harris is a cofounder of Snoop Dogg’s first label, Death Row Records. He was put behind bars for drug trafficking and attempted murder, according to The New York Times. In January 2021, Trump pardoned Harris. “So I have nothing but love and respect for Donald Trump,” Snoop Dogg said. Things always haven’t been smooth between Trump and Snoop in the past. He was among the section of people who disavowed Trump after the latter’s win in the US presidential election in 2016. He even told his followers that he plans to move to Canada because of Trump, which he didn’t. Months later, in a music video named ‘Lavender’, Snoop had a character named Ronald Klump. In November 2017, Snoop Dogg released cover art for his EP, Make America Crip Again. The picture featured a corpse labeled “Trump.” However, things started to simmer down when Trump pardoned Harris. “I love what they did,” Snoop Dogg told the New York Post. “That’s great work for the president and his team on the way out.” About Author SSZee Media Provider of Quality Entertainment News and Information See author's posts Share this: Share on Facebook (Opens in new window) Facebook Share on X (Opens in new window) X Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window) Tumblr Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window) LinkedIn Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window) WhatsApp Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window) Pinterest Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window) Email Share on Telegram (Opens in new window) Telegram Share on Reddit (Opens in new window) Reddit Print (Opens in new window) Print Like this:Like Loading...
