Indian actor Salman Khan has announced his next project in collaboration with director AR Murugadoss and producer Sajid Nadiadwala.
Following the success of Tiger 3, this would be Khan’s next project for Eid 2025. The actor took to social media to share the news on Tuesday: “Glad to join forces with the exceptionally talented AR Murugadoss and my friend Sajid Nadiadwala for a very exciting film! This collaboration is special, and I look forward to this journey with your love and blessings.”
AR Murugadoss, one of Tamil cinema’s most successful filmmakers, has an illustrious career spanning two decades. Beginning with the blockbuster Dheena in 2001, starring Ajith Kumar and Suresh Gopi, Murugadoss continued his winning streak with hits like Ramanaa and Ghajini, both receiving widespread acclaim. His collaborations with top South Indian stars like Suriya, Vijay, Chiranjeevi, Mahesh Babu, and Rajinikanth have further cemented his status as a directorial powerhouse in the industry.
Murugadoss made his Bollywood debut in 2008 with the remake of his Tamil hit Ghajini, featuring Aamir Khan, which emerged as the first Hindi film to cross the 100 crore mark. He followed this success with the Akshay Kumar starrer Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty (2014) and Sonakshi Sinha’s Akira (2016), both of which received positive responses from audiences and critics alike.
Notably, Khan’s 2014 socio-political action-drama Jai Ho was a remake of Murugadoss’ Stalin. Earlier, Khan and producer Nadiadwala have delivered blockbuster films like Judwaa, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, Kick, among others.
