Amid growing concerns over delayed payments within the film industry, producer Jackky Bhagnani has addressed the issue, specifically regarding unpaid dues at Pooja Entertainment. In recent weeks, numerous crew members have reported delays in receiving their payments, highlighting the financial strains affecting the industry.

Bhagnani, in a recent statement, emphasized the priority of crew well-being and acknowledged the support from long-time collaborator Akshay Kumar. The Bollywood superstar, who starred in Pooja Entertainment’s recent film “Bade Miya Chote Miyan,” met with Bhagnani to discuss the matter. During this meeting, Kumar insisted that his own payments be withheld until the entire cast and crew have been fully compensated.

“Akshay sir met me recently to discuss this matter. Upon learning about this situation, Akshay sir didn’t hesitate to step forward and show his support for the crew,” Bhagnani said. “He has insisted that his payments be placed on hold until every single cast and crew member working on our projects receive their full and final payment. We are incredibly grateful for Akshay sir’s understanding and his willingness to stand with us during this time. The movie business hinges on strong relationships and that is the spirit we strive to foster at Pooja Entertainment.”

This gesture by Kumar underscores the importance of solidarity and support within the film industry, particularly during challenging times. Bhagnani’s statement aims to reassure all stakeholders that Pooja Entertainment is committed to resolving the payment issues and maintaining strong, supportive relationships within their production teams.
