Pakistani actor Fawad Khan and Bollywood actress Vaani Kapoor are set to star in a new, yet-to-be-titled romantic comedy that will be filmed entirely in the UK, according to Deadline report. The film will explore the story of two broken individuals who by luck come together to help each other heal and ultimately fall in love.
Aarti Bagdi directed the Hindi-language romantic-comedy represents the first international collaboration for Eastwood Studios, founded by former Reliance and Phantom executives Vivek B Agrawal and Devang Dholakia. Agrawal has previously produced many successful films including “Queen,” “Udta Punjab,” “Super 30,” and Netflix’s first Indian series, “Sacred Games.”
Fawad Khan’s recent work, 2022 action-adventure “The Legend Of Maula Jatt,” was the highest-grossing film in Pakistani box-office history. That same year, Khan made his debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe with “Ms. Marvel.” This new project marks his return to Hindi-language cinema after an eight-year hiatus.
Vaani Kapoor is known for her roles in blockbuster films such as “War,” “Bell Bottom,” and “Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui.” The news first came from Filmfare.
