Prime Video, India’s leading entertainment platform, has announced that its highly anticipated Original series, Citadel: Honey Bunny, will premiere on 7th November, 2024. The announcement was made at an electrifying fan event in Mumbai attended by the series’ stars Varun Dhawan and Samantha, as well as directors Raj & DK.
“Citadel: Honey Bunny,” an Indian spin-off from the global “Citadel” series, is directed by the acclaimed duo Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK and produced by D2R Films, Amazon MGM Studios, and the Russo Brothers’ AGBO. Executive producers include Anthony Russo, Joe Russo, Angela Russo-Otstot, and Scott Nemes from AGBO, along with David Weil and Midnight Radio.
The series stars Varun Dhawan and Samantha in lead roles, alongside Kay Kay Menon and a diverse ensemble cast, including Simran, Saqib Saleem, Sikandar Kher, Soham Majumdar, Shivankit Parihar, and Kashvi Majmundar. It will be available on Prime Video in India and in over 240 countries and territories worldwide.
The announcement event featured an enthralling teaser that promised viewers a thrilling mix of action, drama, and romance set in the vibrant backdrop of the ’90s. The teaser highlighted the series’ high-octane action sequences and the chemistry between its lead actors.
