The Ranbir Kapoor starrer “Animal” continues to make waves, securing 11 nominations across 9 categories for the upcoming IIFA Awards 2024. Produced by Bhushan Kumar and directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the film was one of the biggest blockbusters of 2023, earning widespread acclaim and raking in approximately Rs 1000 crores at the box office.

The film’s impressive nomination haul includes nods for Sandeep Reddy Vanga in the Best Director category and Ranbir Kapoor for Best Performance in a Leading Role (Male). Triptii Dimri is nominated for Best Performance in a Supporting Role (Female), while Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol are recognized in the Best Performance in a Supporting Role (Male) and Best Performance in a Negative Role categories, respectively.

In the music categories, Arijit Singh is nominated for Best Playback Singer (Male) for the song “Satranga,” Bhupinder Babbal for “Arjan Valley,” and Vishal Mishra for “Pehle Bhi Main.” Shreya Ghoshal received a nomination for Best Playback Singer (Female) for “Kashmir.” The film’s producers, Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, and Sandeep Reddy Vanga, are in the running for Best Picture, while the team of Pritam, Vishal Mishra, Mannan Bhardwaj, Shreyas Puranik, Jaani, Bhupinder Babbal, Aashim Kemson, and Harshvardhan Rameshwar has been nominated for Best Music Direction.

“Animal,” a crime drama, hit theaters on December 1, 2023, and quickly garnered rave reviews for its gripping storyline and powerful performances. The film was produced under the banners of Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar’s T-Series, Murad Khetani’s Cine1 Studios, and Pranay Reddy Vanga’s Bhadrakali Pictures.
