Taylor Sheridan’s highly anticipated “Yellowstone” spinoff, “The Madison,” is expanding its cast with the addition of Patrick J. Adams, Elle Chapman, and Beau Garrett. These actors will join previously announced lead Michelle Pfeiffer in the series, which promises to be a poignant exploration of grief and human connection.

“The Madison,” initially developed under the title “2024,” follows a New York City family as they navigate life in the Madison River Valley of central Montana. The show’s official logline describes it as a “heartfelt study of grief and human connection,” though it remains unclear whether the series will debut exclusively on Paramount+ or premiere on Paramount Network like its predecessor, “Yellowstone.”

Patrick J. Adams, best known for his role in the legal drama “Suits,” will portray Russell McIntosh, a young investment banker whose life has followed a predetermined path. Adams has built a diverse portfolio with roles in series such as “Plan B,” “A League of Their Own,” “The Right Stuff,” and “Orphan Black.” His next appearance will be in the upcoming BBC/Netflix series “Lockerbie.”

Elle Chapman, making her television debut, will play Paige McIntosh, a woman characterized as “somewhat self-centered,” living a lavish New York lifestyle funded by her parents and her husband, the investment banker Russell. Chapman recently made her feature film debut in “A Man Called Otto” alongside Tom Hanks.

Beau Garrett, who stars in Netflix’s “Firefly Lane,” will take on the role of Abigail Reese, a resilient and sardonic New Yorker who is a recently divorced mother of two. Garrett has also appeared in shows like “The Good Doctor,” “Longmire,” and “Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior,” and is known for her film roles in “Tron: Legacy,” “Made of Honor,” and “Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer.”

“The Madison” is being produced by MTV Entertainment Studios and 101 Studios, with Taylor Sheridan serving as executive producer through Bosque Ranch Productions. Other executive producers include David C. Glasser, John Linson, Art Linson, Ron Burkle, Bob Yari, David Hutkin, Christina Voros, Michael Friedman, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Keith Cox.
