NxtQube, a leading drone infrastructure company based in Mumbai’s Nashik, has successfully completed a seed funding round led by Venture Catalysts, along with participation from Pontaq VC (STPI), Ananta Bizcon LLP, Rushikesh Bhandari, and other angel investors. The funds will be utilized to enhance operations in the defense and enterprise sectors across the Asia Pacific, Europe, and the United States, with plans to deploy 2 million drones.
This funding marks a significant step for NxtQube as it aims to develop a Universal Drone Docking Station compatible with various drone categories and applications. The capital will help accelerate strategic expansion, research and development, and product diversification while penetrating new markets to serve a modern consumer base. NxtQube also seeks to innovate in aerospace technology, enhancing everyday lives through advanced solutions. Central to this vision is the NxtQube Drone Dock, a fully automated universal docking station designed for compatibility with diverse drone manufacturers, promoting a more efficient aerial ecosystem.

Since its founding in 2022, NxtQube has rapidly advanced in the drone sector by developing indigenous docking stations and hardware in line with the Make in India initiative, facilitating seamless remote drone operations regardless of location. The firm is also working on a battery-swapping module to enhance drone operational efficiency and plans to develop docks for swarm capabilities, logistics docks for hub-to-hub and last-mile delivery, and platforms for virtual piloting.
