Disney Cruise Line has revealed exciting new details about the Disney Adventure, the first ship in its fleet to homeport in Asia, scheduled to set sail from Singapore in 2025. One of the seven themed areas on board, Disney Imagination Garden, promises to be a vibrant, immersive experience celebrating 100 years of Disney storytelling.
This enchanting valley will serve as the heart of the ship, transporting guests into the magical worlds of beloved Disney stories alongside their favorite characters. Central to Disney Imagination Garden will be a stunning storybook castle art piece that spans three decks—a first for Disney Cruise Line ships. The area will feature a state-of-the-art theatrical stage, two quick-service eateries, an inviting bar, and garden-view staterooms.
“Disney Imagination Garden is the heart and soul of the Disney Adventure, where our guests will interact with our Disney, Pixar and Marvel stories in a whole new way,” said Laura Cabo, portfolio executive creative director at Walt Disney Imagineering. “The size and scale of this space provided us with so many opportunities to dream big and try new things with our experiential design, creating first-of-a-kind experiences for our guests, from all-new entertainment to delicious dining and lots of magical surprises sprinkled throughout. Rooted in the rich legacy of Disney storytelling, we’re creating an area that will open doors to new adventures and encourage guests to create magic of their own.”
Disney Imagination Garden will feature landscapes reminiscent of classic pop-up storybooks, complete with decorative foliage, blooming flowers, and towering trees. This whimsical setting will be adorned with familiar Disney, Pixar, and Marvel characters, creating a truly immersive experience.
Anchored by the Garden Stage and the impressive castle artwork, the space will include an open “lawn” area leading to amphitheater-style seating, perfect for enjoying live entertainment. A charming garden courtyard and bar, complete with a Sorcerer’s Apprentice Mickey Mouse topiary, will enhance the magical ambiance.
The Garden Stage will host an array of high-energy shows and character appearances, featuring cutting-edge technology, including three-deck-high LED screens and innovative special effects. One of the highlights will be “Avengers Assemble!”—a thrilling stage show that introduces Deadpool to the Disney Cruise Line stage, showcasing an epic battle of Marvel superheroes and villains.
Disney Imagination Garden will also house two quick-service eateries inspired by Disney classics. Mowgli’s Eatery will offer Indian cuisine with a Disney twist, while Gramma Tala’s Kitchen will feature vibrant dishes inspired by “Moana,” allowing guests to enjoy meals in immersive environments.
Starting in 2025, the Disney Adventure will embark on three- and four-night voyages from the Marina Bay Cruise Centre, providing families with a unique vacation experience at sea. The ship, with a capacity of approximately 6,700 passengers and around 2,500 crew members, will offer a variety of well-appointed staterooms, luxurious concierge accommodations, and exclusive amenities.
As part of a collaboration between Disney Cruise Line and the Singapore Tourism Board, the Disney Adventure is set to create unforgettable memories for families, ensuring that the magic of Disney storytelling continues to thrive on the high seas.
