In a tragic incident, Bollywood actor Malaika Arora’s father, Anil Arora, died by suicide on Wednesday morning, confirmed Mumbai police. According to reports, Anil Arora reportedly jumped from the sixth floor of a building in Mumbai’s Bandra. Malaika’s parents, Anil Arora and Joyce Polycarp, separated when she was just 11 years old.
Senior police officials, along with Malaika’s ex-husband, actor Arbaaz Khan, have arrived at her residence. The body has been sent for post-mortem as authorities investigate the incident, informed reports.
According to police, no suicide note has been found at the scene, and the motive behind the tragic act remains unknown. Officials also stated that Malaika Arora was not at home at the time of her father’s death.
The investigation is ongoing as authorities work to uncover more details surrounding the circumstances of the suicide.
