British pop-rock giants Coldplay have announced they will play eight exclusive UK stadium shows in 2025, including their first-ever performances in Hull. These will mark their only live appearances in the UK and Europe next year.

Following the success of their 2024 European tour for Music of the Spheres, the new dates coincide with the release of their 10th studio album Moon Music, set to drop on 4 October. The tour will kick off in London and Hull, with 50% of tickets for the Hull shows reserved for local fans within postcodes HU, YO, DN, and LN.

Coldplay will donate 10% of the proceeds from ticket sales to the Music Venue Trust, a charity that helps grassroots music venues and emerging artists across the UK Concert promoters, ticket agents, and venues are also contributing to the cause.

Mark Davyd, CEO of the Music Venue Trust, praised Coldplay for giving back to the music scene that helped shape their career, said, “It’s fantastic to see them celebrating their own pathway to Wembley by giving back to the grassroots music venues that supported them… The band’s support really will stop venues closing and bring the joy of live music to thousands.”

Coldplay’s sustainability efforts will also take center stage. For their Wembley shows, the band will use 100% solar, wind, and kinetic energy to power the production, building on their Music of the Spheres tour, which cut CO2 emissions by 59% compared to their previous tour. Moon Music physical albums will be made from 100% recycled plastic, further expanding Coldplay’s commitment to environmental responsibility.
