Peacock has dropped the trailer for Teacup, a gripping new horror thriller series from James Wan’s Atomic Monster, based on the novel Stinger by Robert McCammon. The series, adapted by showrunner Ian McCulloch, is set to premiere on 10th October.
According to the official logline, Teacup follows “a disparate group of people in rural Georgia who must come together in the face of a mysterious threat in order to survive.” The cast features Yvonne Strahovski, Scott Speedman, Chaske Spencer, Kathy Baker, Boris McGiver, Caleb Dolden, Emilie Bierre, and Luciano Leroux.
Teacup’s production team includes James Wan, Michael Clear, and Rob Hackett serving as executive producers for Atomic Monster. Other executive producers include Francisca X. Hu, Kevin Tancharoen, and McCammon himself. The series is produced by UCP, a division of Universal Studio Group.
The first two episodes of Teacup will debut on Peacock on 10th October, with two new episodes releasing each week, leading up to the thrilling finale on Halloween.
