Focus Features has released the official trailer for Robert Eggers’ upcoming gothic horror Nosferatu, which is set to premiere in theaters on Wednesday, 25th December, 2024. It is another collaboration between Eggers and Focus Features, following their success with the 2022 Viking epic The Northman.
Nosferatu tells the dark, haunting story of a young woman trapped in a terrifying obsession with a vampire, leading to untold horrors. Eggers, known for his visionary storytelling, wrote and directed the film, which boasts a star-studded cast including Bill Skarsgård, Nicholas Hoult, Lily-Rose Depp, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Emma Corrin, Ralph Ineson, Simon McBurney, and Willem Dafoe.
Produced by Eggers alongside Chris Columbus, Eleanor Columbus, Jeff Robinov, and John Graham, the film was shot at Barrandov Studios in Prague. Focus Features will distribute Nosferatu in the US, while Universal Pictures International will handle global distribution.
