DUNE: PROPHECY coming exclusively to Sky and NOW on November 18, as official trailer released
Sky recently released the official trailer for its highly anticipated series Dune: Prophecy and confirmed that the first episode will debut on Monday, November 18th, exclusively on Sky and streaming service NOW.
Starring an all-star cast including Emily Watson, Olivia Williams, Travis Fimmel, Jodhi May, and Mark Strong, Dune: Prophecy is set 10,000 years before the events of Frank Herbert’s iconic novel. The six-episode series follows two Harkonnen sisters as they battle forces that threaten the future of humanity and establish the legendary Bene Gesserit sect.
Inspired by Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson’s novel Sisterhood of Dune, Dune: Prophecy boasts a stellar ensemble cast that also includes Sarah-Sofie Boussnina, Josh Heuston, Chloe Lea, Jade Anouka, Faoileann Cunningham, Edward Davis, Aoife Hinds, Chris Mason, Shalom Brune-Franklin, Camilla Beeput, Jihae, Tabu, Charithra Chandran, Jessica Barden, Emma Canning, and Yerin Ha.
Alison Schapker serves as showrunner and executive producer, with Diane Ademu-John co-developing the series and serving as executive producer. Anna Foerster executive produced and directed multiple episodes, including the first. The series is a co-production between HBO and Legendary Television, with Legendary also producing the critically acclaimed film franchise.
