The Marvel television series Daredevil: Born Again is set to officially release on Disney+ on 4th March, 2025, announced on Sunday at New York Comic Con.
The announcement was made during the “Marvel Fanfare With CB Cebulski” panel, where stars Charlie Cox, who plays Daredevil, and Vincent D’Onofrio, who portrays Wilson Fisk, thrilled the audience with a surprise appearance. Joining them on stage was series producer and Marvel Studios production executive Sana Amanat, alongside Marvel’s editor-in-chief CB Cebulski. During the panel, Amanat shared insights about filming Season 1 in New York City and gave fans a sneak peek at what to expect in the new series.
The official synopsis of Daredevil: Born Again offers a glimpse into the intense drama awaiting fans: “Matt Murdock (Cox), a blind lawyer with heightened abilities, is fighting for justice through his bustling law firm, while former mob boss Wilson Fisk (D’Onofrio) pursues his own political endeavors in New York. When their past identities begin to emerge, both men find themselves on an inevitable collision course.”
Besides, Cox and D’Onofrio, the series will see the return of Jon Bernthal as the Punisher, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson, and Wilson Bethel as Poindexter. Joining the cast are newcomers Michael Gandolfini, Margarita Levieva, Jeremy Earl, and Ayelet Zurer, who steps into the role of Vanessa Marianna-Fisk, replacing Sandrine Holt from the original series.
The series is being led by showrunner Dario Scardapane, who also serves as an executive producer alongside Marvel heavyweights Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Brad Winderbaum, and others. Directors for the series include Michael Cuesta, Jeffrey Nachmanoff, David Boyd, and the duo Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead.
