Filming has officially begun in Berlin for Bone Palace (working title), a new spy thriller series produced by Gaumont for Netflix. The show, centered around a secret safe house in the German capital, features a stellar cast including Susanne Wolff, Felix Kramer, Samuel Finzi, Natalia Belitski, and Andreas Pietschmann. The series will be directed by Lennart Ruff and Philipp Leinemann, with a script by creator and lead writer Paul Coates, alongside Kim Zimmermann and Alexander Seibt.
Bone Palace follows ex-Federal Intelligence Service (BND) agents Simon (Felix Kramer) and Meret (Susanne Wolff), who run a hidden safe house in Berlin known as “The Nest.” Once a refuge for those who needed to disappear, the couple’s quiet life is disrupted when their past comes back to haunt them, threatening their lives and that of their daughter. As old enemies, hitmen, Russian agents, and even their former employers close in, Simon and Meret must not only survive but also try to keep their marriage intact.
The show boasts an impressive ensemble cast, with performances from Maja Bons, Genija Rykova, Henry Hübchen, Seyneb Saleh, Laurence Rupp, Sina Martens, Anand Batbileg Chuluunbaatar, and Aaron Altaras. Lina Mareike Zopfs produces the series, with Andreas Bareiss and Sabine de Mardt serving as executive producers.

Filming for the six-episode series will continue in Berlin over the coming months, with Bone Palace expected to bring a high-stakes mix of action, espionage, and personal drama to screens.
