Ali Fazal joins Phoebe Waller-Bridge in inspirational film “Rule Breakers”

Indian actor Ali Fazal will star opposite Phoebe Waller-Bridge in the upcoming film Rule Breakers, scheduled for release in March 2025. Directed by two-time Oscar-winning filmmaker Bill Guttentag, the film explores themes of resilience and empowerment against the challenging backdrop of Afghanistan.

Rule Breakers centers on Roya Mehboob, a trailblazer who became the first woman to establish an IT company in Afghanistan and inspired an all-girls robotics team. Fazal and Waller-Bridge portray pivotal characters in Mehboob’s journey, highlighting the struggles and triumphs of breaking societal norms.
