In a groundbreaking collaboration, Beyoncé will deliver her first live performances of the “Cowboy Carter” album during the Houston Texans vs. Baltimore Ravens game on Christmas Day. The highly anticipated event will air live on Netflix at 4:30 p.m. ET, making history as the streaming platform’s debut NFL Christmas Gameday broadcast.
Taking place at Houston’s NRG Stadium, Beyoncé will perform in her hometown, elevating the football showdown with a musical spectacle. Produced by Parkwood Entertainment and Jesse Collins Entertainment, the event is rumored to feature special guests from the album.
Netflix teased the announcement with a striking visual of Beyoncé in a red, white, and blue leather ensemble—a nod to her “Cowboy Carter” theme. A promotional video captured her catching a football atop a rose-covered car with a custom license plate reading “BRNCNTRY.”
This NFL-themed event will lead into a full day of football action on Netflix. The Kansas City Chiefs face the Pittsburgh Steelers at 1 p.m. ET, followed by the Texans-Ravens matchup. For local fans, games will also air on broadcast TV in team markets and be accessible via NFL+ on mobile devices.
The performance adds another milestone to Beyoncé’s illustrious year. She leads the 2025 Grammy nominations with a record-breaking 11 nods for “Cowboy Carter” and its hit singles, solidifying her status as the most-nominated artist in Grammy history.
Among her nominations are album of the year and record and song of the year for “Texas Hold ‘Em.” Beyoncé also appears across multiple genres, including country and Americana. Highlights include “16 Carriages” (best country solo performance), “II Most Wanted” featuring Miley Cyrus (best country duo/group performance), and “Ya Ya” (best Americana performance).
