The 55th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) will be held in Goa from November 20-28, 2024, under the theme “Young Filmmakers: The Future is Now.” With a focus on celebrating emerging talent, the event promises an enriching blend of cinematic brilliance, cultural heritage, and industry collaboration.

- Global Presence: With 1,676 submissions from 101 countries, this year’s festival will showcase 270+ films, including 180 international titles with 15 world premieres.
- Country of Focus: Australia will take center stage, offering a curated selection of films, masterclasses by renowned Australian artists, and a collaboration with Screen Australia.
- New Initiatives: A Best Indian Debut Director award has been introduced, alongside the expansion of the Creative Minds of Tomorrow initiative to support 100 young talents.
- Tributes and Classics: Restored classics from legends like Raj Kapoor and Mohammed Rafi will be screened as part of a tribute to Indian cinema icons.
