Barrett Carnahan, known for his role in Cobra Kai, is the latest addition to the cast of Apple TV+’s acclaimed series For All Mankind, as per Deadline exclusive report. The space drama’s upcoming fifth season will see Carnahan in a recurring role as Marcus, a recent high school graduate navigating life on Mars.

Set in an alternate history of the space race, For All Mankind continues to explore humanity’s boundless ambitions. Season 5 propels the story into 2003, with the Martian settlement of Happy Valley expanding rapidly. Former rivals have united to mine resource-rich asteroids that could reshape the future of Earth and Mars. However, mounting tensions among the international base’s residents pose a significant threat to their progress.

The show’s creators Ronald D. Moore, Matt Wolpert, and Ben Nedivi are joined by showrunners Wolpert and Nedivi, with executive production support from Moore, Maril Davis, David Weddle, Bradley Thompson, Seth Edelstein, and Kira Snyder. Produced by Sony Pictures Television, For All Mankind remains one of Apple TV+’s flagship series.

Carnahan joins an ensemble cast featuring Mireille Enos, Costa Ronin, Sean Kaufman, Ruby Cruz, and Ines Asserson.

Carnahan has been recently seen in the role of younger version of John Kreese in Netflix’s Cobra Kai. His other notable roles are Jake Riordan in Peacock’s One of Us Is Lying and Derek Turner in Freeform’s Cruel Summer. His extensive television credits include appearances on Grown-ish, Good Girls Revolt, Colony, Constantine, and The Thundermans. Guest roles span hits like Bones, Grey’s Anatomy, Sleepy Hollow, and Modern Family.
