Sex Education fame Reda Elazouar is the latest addition to the ensemble cast of Apple Original Films’ sequel to its hit movie The Family Plan, led by Mark Wahlberg. Directed by Simon Cellan Jones, the sequel builds on the success of the original film, which became the most-watched Apple TV+ title upon its release last year.
Elazouar joins a powerhouse lineup that includes Michelle Monaghan, Kit Harington, Zoe Colletti, and Van Crosby. While details about his character remain under wraps, the anticipation around his role adds intrigue to an already exciting project.
The sequel, penned by David Coggeshall, transports viewers to Europe during Christmas, where Dan Morgan (Wahlberg) plans the perfect family getaway. However, the festive vacation takes unexpected turns as Dan’s past resurfaces in dramatic and surprising ways.
Produced by Skydance Media, the film is spearheaded by David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Don Granger, with Wahlberg and Stephen Levinson producing through Municipal Pictures. John G. Scotti also serves as a producer, with Simon Cellan Jones taking on executive producer duties.
