Prime Video’s animated anthology Secret Level has officially been renewed for a second season, marking a major win for the gaming-inspired series. The announcement comes as additional episodes from Season 1 dropped on the platform today.

Produced by Amazon MGM Studios and Blur Studio, Secret Level dives into the worlds of iconic video games, offering a fresh perspective through standalone animated tales. Season 1 has already showcased stories rooted in beloved franchises like Dungeons & Dragons, Warhammer 40,000, Mega Man, Pac-Man, The Outer Worlds, and more. The series brings these virtual landscapes to life with creative energy reminiscent of Love, Death + Robots.

Since its December debut, Secret Level has quickly become Prime Video’s biggest new animated release, outpacing shows like Sausage Party, Hazbin Hotel, Invincible, and The Legend of Vox Machina.

Fans have been captivated by its high-octane storytelling and star-studded voice cast, featuring talents such as Arnold Schwarzenegger, Kevin Hart, Keanu Reeves, Emily Swallow, and Gabriel Luna. The series also boasts contributions from gaming icons like Laura Bailey and Clive Standen.

Tim Miller, the series creator and executive producer, is at the helm alongside supervising director and executive producer Dave Wilson.

Prime Video’s commitment to the series signals its confidence in Secret Level as a cornerstone of its animated lineup.
