Prime Video has officially announced the addition of Olivia Williams, Luke Fetherston, Callum Kerr, and Nuno Lopes to the cast of The Wheel of Time for its highly anticipated third season. Set to premiere worldwide on 13 March, 2025, the series continues its adaptation of Robert Jordan’s iconic fantasy book series, co-produced by Sony Pictures Television and Amazon MGM Studios.

The new season introduces the royal family of Andor, a pivotal kingdom in the Westlands. Olivia Williams, celebrated for her roles in The Sixth Sense and The Crown, will portray Queen Morgase Trakand, a ruler known for her political cunning and dedication to her kingdom. Reflecting on her character, the press release describes Morgase as “one of the best queens Andor has ever known.” Luke Fetherston (Doctor Who) and Callum Kerr (Hollyoaks) will appear as Morgase’s sons, Lord Gawyn and Lord Galad, respectively. Nuno Lopes (White Lines) takes on the role of Lord Gaebril, the Queen’s consort and trusted adviser.

Returning to the tale of Rand al’Thor and the Last Battle, Season 3 will delve deeper into the series’ intricate lore and escalating stakes. As Rand’s power grows and his ties to the past unravel, his choices between Light and Dark will test the loyalty of those closest to him. The star-studded ensemble includes Rosamund Pike as Moiraine Damodred, Josha Stradowski as Rand al’Thor, and Natasha O’Keeffe as Lanfear, among others.

Showrunner Rafe Judkins continues to lead the adaptation, with executive producers including Rosamund Pike, Ted Field, and Marigo Kehoe. Fans can catch up on the first two seasons, now streaming on Prime Video, as they await the latest chapter of this sprawling epic.
