Maddock Films is gearing up to redefine Indian cinema with a bold and visionary venture: an interconnected horror-comedy superhero universe spanning eight films over four years. Beginning in 2025, the studio, led by filmmaker Dinesh Vijan, plans to release two films annually, blending heritage, innovation, and genre-defying storytelling to captivate audiences like never before.

The universe kicks off with Thama, arriving on Diwali 2025, followed by Shakti Shalini on New Year’s Eve. The slate continues into 2026 with Bhediya 2 slated for an Independence Day release, and Chamunda debuting in December. In 2027, fans can expect the return of beloved franchises with Stree 3 in August and Mahamunjya in December. This journey culminates in 2028 with the grand two-part saga, Mahayudh. The first installment, Pehla Mahayudh, releases in August, followed by Doosra Mahayudh during the Diwali season.

Dinesh Vijan, the mastermind behind Maddock Films, expressed his excitement about this ambitious project, highlighting the studio’s commitment to storytelling rooted in India’s cultural richness. “We’ve crafted compelling characters that resonate deeply with audiences. With our passionate fanbase, we’re now setting the stage for a cinematic universe that will bring unforgettable stories to life. We can’t wait to take audiences on this journey through 2028 and beyond,” said Vijan.

Maddock Films has established itself as a trailblazer in the horror-comedy genre, with past successes like Stree, Bhediya, and Munjya. The studio’s dedication to blending tradition with modern storytelling has not only garnered critical acclaim but also a devoted fan following. This new slate aims to push boundaries further, creating a universe that intertwines individual narratives into an epic culmination.
