Prime Video is revving up for its first NASCAR Cup Series season with a powerhouse broadcast team, adding third-generation racer Corey LaJoie and veteran journalist Danielle Trotta to its trackside coverage. The duo will anchor pre- and postrace analysis live from each race location, beginning with the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway on May 25.

LaJoie and Trotta join an already impressive lineup, which includes play-by-play announcer Adam Alexander, NASCAR Hall of Famer Dale Earnhardt Jr., and Daytona 500-winning crew chief Steve Letarte in the broadcast booth. The move marks a significant expansion of Prime Video’s footprint in live motorsports, bringing a new streaming partner into the NASCAR fold.

For Trotta, who has spent more than 15 years covering everything from NASCAR to the NFL and MotoGP, this moment is a thrilling new chapter. She described her role in Prime Video’s debut season as “a huge honor” and expressed her excitement about teaming up with LaJoie. The two share a history, with Trotta having reported on LaJoie’s racing career over the years.

LaJoie, who has built a name for himself on the track with Spire Motorsports and Rick Ware Racing, is stepping into a unique dual role, balancing competition with his new role as an analyst. While he’s no stranger to breaking down race strategy—thanks to his popular Stacking Pennies podcast—this marks his first major gig as a broadcaster. He called the opportunity “something I could have never dreamed of,” adding that swapping a steering wheel for a microphone will offer him a fresh perspective on the sport.

Prime Video’s NASCAR coverage will include five exclusive Cup Series races, along with practice and qualifying sessions for most of the first half of the season. With streaming access across multiple devices, fans will be able to watch the action wherever they go.

As the season opener approaches, anticipation is building for how Prime Video’s fresh take on NASCAR coverage will resonate with fans. More broadcast details are expected to be revealed in the coming weeks.
