Prime Video is expanding its slate of original dramas with Sterling Point, a new series created by Megan Park. The filmmaker, known for My Old Ass and The Fallout, will also direct, executive produce, and co-showrun alongside industry veterans Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage, the duo behind The OC and Gossip Girl.

Produced by LuckyChap (Barbie, Maid), Sterling Point marks the company’s latest project under its first-look television deal with Amazon MGM Studios. The collaboration reunites Park with LuckyChap after the success of My Old Ass, which made waves at Sundance before landing on Prime Video. The upcoming series will premiere exclusively in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.

“Megan’s vision, alongside Josh, Stephanie, and LuckyChap, makes Sterling Point compelling,” said Vernon Sanders, head of television at Amazon MGM Studios. “The series speaks to young audiences while tackling themes that we think will resonate with all age groups, and we’re looking forward to bringing their creative vision to life for our global Prime Video customers.”

For Park, the partnership is a continuation of what she describes as an “incredible journey” with LuckyChap and Amazon. “The trust they have in my world-building is every creator’s dream,” she said. “I feel honored to be working alongside two of the best in the business, Stephanie and Josh, who are masters at their craft. Together, we’re having the best time making something we really love, and hope audiences will love too.”

Park’s My Old Ass, produced by LuckyChap and Indian Paintbrush, earned critical acclaim following its Sundance premiere, securing nominations from the Directors Guild of America (DGA), Writers Guild of America (WGA), and the Independent Spirit Awards, as well as a Critics Choice nomination for Best Comedy Movie.

Sterling Point is produced by the studio, with Park, Schwartz, and Savage executive producing under the Fake Empire banner. LuckyChap also serves as an executive producer.
