Vertical has secured North American rights to the upcoming family comedy F+, a school-set heist film starring UFC legend Randy Couture, In Living Color alum Tommy Davidson, and Jennifer Esposito. The deal was struck with Premiere Entertainment Group, which licensed the film to Vertical, as first reported by Deadline.

Produced by Swen Studios, F+ follows a group of teenagers who concoct a daring plan to break into their middle school and alter their failing test scores. The film also features WWE professional wrestler Ettore “Big E” Ewen, alongside rising talents Wells Rappaport, Lily Jane, James Williams Jr., Lilly Tricano, and Cade Clark. Kenny Beaumont directs from an original screenplay by Jonathan Davenport.

Swen Studios’ Eli Lipnik produces alongside Jason M. Murphy of In The Dark Entertainment, with Murray Lipnik, Amber Wilkins, Tim Wilkins, and Dimiter Nikolov serving as executive producers. Premiere Entertainment’s Elias Axume and Carlos Rincon also executive produce.

Reflecting on the challenges of bringing F+ to life, Lipnik praised the production team’s resilience. “Producing this film during the strike was a challenging experience, but the team did an incredible job bringing this fun and engaging story to life. We are thrilled that Vertical will be sharing this family-friendly film with audiences of all ages.”

Vertical has been expanding its slate with a mix of crime, sci-fi, and historical dramas, including The Order starring Jude Law and Nicholas Hoult, Elevation with Anthony Mackie, and WWII thriller Lee, featuring Kate Winslet and Alexander Skarsgård. With F+, the company adds a lighthearted, family-friendly caper to its lineup.
