The highly anticipated sci-fi supernatural thriller BAIDA has unveiled its official trailer, sending shockwaves across the internet. Directed by Puneet Sharma and headlined by Sudhanshu Rai, the film is set for a nationwide theatrical release on 21 March, 2025. The trailer debuted at a grand event in Noida, featuring the presence of the film’s director and its leading cast members, Sudhanshu and Shobhit Sujay.
Ever since its release on YouTube, the BAIDA trailer has captivated audiences, leaving them eager for more. The film has already secured its place as the Number 1 Most Anticipated Indian Movie on IMDb, and the excitement only continues to build.
The trailer immerses viewers in a world where a sinister force named ‘Pishaach’ operates beyond the confines of reality. A malevolent entity whose mere presence signifies death, this dark power entraps the protagonist—a former spy—who embarks on a perilous mission to break free from its grip. The narrative intriguingly blends spiritual elements with scientific energies, setting the stage for a battle between prey and predator.

Fans and film buffs have drawn parallels between BAIDA and globally acclaimed titles like Stranger Things and Dark, as well as Indian cinematic masterpieces such as Tumbbad and Bramayugam. Based on a popular story by storyteller-actor Sudhanshu Rai, BAIDA is a genre-defying spectacle that aims to push the boundaries of Indian sci-fi storytelling.
