Apple TV+ will be available via Prime Video in Japan and the Netherlands as an add-on subscription, as announced recently. For a limited time until April 24, new customers and eligible returning customers can enjoy Apple TV+’s globally popular original series and movies on their favorite devices for 200 yen per month for three months.
Prime members who subscribe to Apple TV+ via Prime Video will have access to premium entertainment including award-winning hit series Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, Severance, Pachinko, Slow Horses, Prehistoric Planet, Ted Lasso, Hijack, The Snoopy Show, The Morning Show, Invasion, and The Studio, as well as global hit films such as Wolfs, The Gorge, Napoleon and more, plus Friday Night Baseball (MLB) and Fight for Glory: 2024 World Series sporting contents. Apple TV+ is now also available in the UK, Canada, Australia, Germany, Spain, Italy, Brazil, Mexico, India, Chile, Colombia and New Zealand via Prime Video as an add-on subscription, after launching in the US in October last year.

Apple TV+ joins Prime Video Japan’s extensive collection of add-on subscription options such as DAZN, d Anime Store for Prime Video, NHK on demand, Korean Drama & Entertainment channel K, and J SPORTS, among others.
Benefits of add-on subscriptions on Prime Video for Prime members include:
- No hassle login & billing: Customers do not have to juggle between multiple usernames, passwords and billing due dates. With add-on subscriptions, all premium content subscriptions are managed within a single destination – Prime Video apps and website.
- More time watching, less time deciding: Customers don’t have to spend time toggling between their favourite services to discover what’s new and popular. With add-on subscriptions they can browse in one place, search across all their premium subscription and get personalized recommendations. All of this without ever having to leave the Prime Video app or website.
- Enjoy your favourite features, no matter which service: Customers can enjoy X-Ray feature as wel l as the watch list and download library for offline viewing. Subscribers can also manage data consumption and other settings across all their add-on subscriptions.

To date, Apple Original films, documentaries and series have earned 553 wins and 2,557 award nominations and counting, including multi-Emmy Award-winning comedy Ted Lasso and more.
Prime members will be able to subscribe to Apple TV+ with no extra apps to download beyond Prime Video. The subscription can also be cancelled.
