Bollywood is buzzing about “Bijuria”, the revitalised track from Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari — and for good reason. The song brings together Sonu Nigam and Asees Kaur under the creative direction of Tanishk Bagchi, who has reimagined and produced the track originally composed by Ravi Pawar.

He says in order to give his best, he learnt a lot from previous singing legends from Mohammad Rafi to Kumar Sanu. He says “One thing that that I learned from Rafi Sahab was how to emote differently for different genres of songs. For romance, he would be more differently for a song which has got lots of sadness and sorrow. His way of convening would be different. So, I learned it and I implemented this technique.

Bagchi’s fresh arrangement adds pace, energy, and a modern beat structure while keeping the heart of the song intact. His additional lyrics blend effortlessly with the original words written by Nigam and Jhingran, making Bijuria feel both classic and current.

Kaur’s dynamic vocals complement Nigam’s emotive delivery, resulting in a duet that feels celebratory and cinematic. Together, they bring renewed sparkle to a beloved tune.

With Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor leading the visuals, Bijuria stands as a testament to how Bollywood continues to reinvent its musical heritage for new generations.
