NDTV Good Times has announced the first-ever India tour of Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy, marking a landmark cultural moment for Indian live music. Described as a multi-city celebration of music and memory, the tour will bring the celebrated composer trio to audiences across key cultural centres of the country.
The pan-India tour will begin in Mumbai on 8 February, followed by Hyderabad on 22 February and Bengaluru on 27 March, offering fans a rare opportunity to experience the trio live on stage. The concerts are positioned as immersive musical experiences that blend nostalgia with contemporary ideas, reflecting the evolution of Bollywood’s soundscape over the last two decades.
For more than 20 years, Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy have played a defining role in shaping modern Indian cinema’s musical language. Known for their ability to seamlessly blend Indian classical, rock, jazz, folk, Sufi and electronic influences, their work has consistently defied genre boundaries while maintaining a distinctive identity.
Speaking about their journey and the spirit behind the tour, the trio said, ‘We are here because of a bigger purpose and that is to stick around and to create music together’.
Their repertoire spans exuberant dance numbers such as Kajra Re, Gallan Goodiyaan and It’s the Time to Disco, alongside deeply emotional ballads like Mitwa and the raw, anthemic energy of Rock On!!. Their music has accompanied moments of celebration, heartbreak, friendship and personal milestones, resonating across generations. While millennials grew up with their songs as defining cultural markers, Gen Z continues to rediscover and reinterpret their work, keeping it relevant in the present moment.
The tour is expected to bring Bollywood nostalgia together with pure musical performance, offering audiences an evening where memory, emotion and live artistry converge. Each concert promises an immersive experience rooted in shared cultural memory.Commenting on the association, Rahul Kanwal, CEO & Editor-in-Chief, NDTV, said, ‘Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy are cultural storytellers whose music has accompanied India through moments of joy, change, and collective memory. At NDTV Good Times, we believe in celebrating excellence that shapes the cultural fabric of the country. This tour, with NDTV Good Times, is about bringing people together through music that has meaning, history, and a lasting emotional connect.’
