Prime Video has matched its all-time high with 21 nominations across 15 categories at the 47th Annual Sports Emmy® Awards, highlighting its growing influence in live sports broadcasting and original sports programming. The nominations were announced by the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, with winners set to be revealed at a ceremony at Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Frederick P. Rose Hall on 26 May.
The platform’s expanding sports portfolio accounted for a significant share of the recognition, with 11 nominations tied to its live sports properties, including Thursday Night Football, NBA on Prime, and NASCAR on Prime. These projects collectively earned nominations across categories such as Outstanding Live Sports Series, Outstanding Studio Show – Weekly, Outstanding Interactive Experience, Outstanding Digital Innovation, Outstanding Technical Team Studio, Outstanding Music Direction, Outstanding Graphic Design and Outstanding Studio Design/Art Direction.
