Kacey Musgraves, Miranda Lambert Join Star-Studded Line-Up for 61st ACM Awards

The performance lineup for the Academy of Country Music Awards continues to expand, with Kacey Musgraves, Little Big Town, and Miranda Lambert announced as the latest additions to the 61st edition of the ceremony.

The awards show will take place on 17 May, 2026, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, streaming live globally on Prime Video. Viewers will also be able to watch via the Amazon Music channel on Twitch and within the app itself.

The newly announced performers join an already strong lineup that includes Cody Johnson, Lainey Wilson, and Riley Green, with additional acts expected to be revealed in the coming weeks.

Returning to a Sunday night slot, the ceremony aims to deliver a mix of high-profile collaborations, exclusive performances, and surprise moments, celebrating both established and emerging country music talent. Musgraves, a seven-time ACM Award winner, is set to make her performance debut at the ceremony with a new track from her upcoming album Middle of Nowhere, releasing 1 May.

Eight-time ACM Award-winning group Little Big Town will take the stage for a special performance, while Lambert—recognised as the most awarded artist in ACM history—is expected to deliver one of the night’s standout acts.

Beyond the main event, the city will host a series of ACM Awards week celebrations. These include “ACM Lifting Lives Country on the Green: Riley Green & Friends” at Topgolf Las Vegas on May 15, featuring Lauren Alaina, Randy Houser, and Rodney Atkins, alongside headliner Riley Green. Another highlight is “ACM Next Wave: Country’s Beach Bash” at Mandalay Bay Beach on May 16, with performances from Ashley Cooke, Braxton Keith, Dasha, Flatland Cavalry, and Tucker Wetmore.

First established in 1966, the ACM Awards remain the longest-running country music awards show and were among the first major ceremonies to transition fully to a livestream format in partnership with Prime Video in 2022. The 2026 edition is produced by Dick Clark Productions, with Raj Kapoor and Patrick Menton serving as executive producers.

Nominations for this year’s awards are set to be announced on 9 April, with further details—including additional performers, presenters, and the host—expected in the lead-up to the ceremony.

With a packed weekend of events and a growing roster of performers, the 61st ACM Awards is shaping up to be one of the most expansive celebrations of country music in recent years.
