Shiamak Davar To Choreograph TOIFA!

Entertainment Icon, Shiamak Davar is set to make Dubai experience the best of Bollywood at the second edition of The Times of India Film Awards (TOIFA) on 18th March.

Bollywood fans in Dubai are excited as TOIFA is set to take place in the city with the biggest Bollywood stars. The man behind the breath-taking performances, India’s top choreographer Shiamak Davar is already in the midst of rehearsals to showcase the color, energy and vibrancy that Bollywood stands for.

“The first time we did TOIFA, it was a grand success. It’s always great to take Bollywood to international destinations and reach out to fans around the world.” says Shiamak.

“Bollywood is hugely popular in Dubai and they’re in for a spectacular show! With my dance academy in UAE, I will be giving an opportunity to the talent here to perform and see the action backstage. Students are very excited to meet their Bollywood icons in person.”

With a power packed line up of star performers including Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Ranveer Singh, Varun Dhawan, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez, TOIFA is set to raise the bar this year.

“Stars perform multiple shows in a year. It’s a challenge as well as an opportunity for me to choreograph each song and performer differently every time. We’re in the midst of finalizing themes and songs for each star, rehearsals are on in full swing and this will really be one show to watch out for.” says Davar.

TOIFA is even more special for Shiamak because of his long term association with The Times of India.

“It’s always a pleasure to with a team that gives me creative freedom and shares a similar vision.”

With the award show just round the corner, we’re all awaiting 18th March to watch Shiamak’s magical choreography come to life on stage at the Dubai International Stadium!
