Wednesday 26th July 2017 – Monday 31st July 2017, Dubai, UAE – With the release of Jab Harry Met Sejal this week, the stars of the film, Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma were in Dubai on the weekend to promote the film. Shah Rukh posted a picture of him and Anushka on Twitter while heading to Dubai for the promotion. Thousands of fans queued up at a cinema in Dubai to catch a glimpse of the Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh and actress Anushka. Some fans even queued before the mall opened to see their favourite hero. Shah Rukh thanked everyone and tried his best to meet as many fans as he could on the red carpet. When asked about his travel experience, he said, “I am not much of a traveller. For me travelling is living in the five-star hotel that they put me in. I am very un-exciting like that.” “Imtiaz had a cosy and warm way of making this film that’s why this film is very special to me. We used to work in the day and hang out together in the evening. I have become a nicer person. I am liking Anushka even more than before if that is even possible.” Anushka spoke about the joy of travelling solo. “I actually often like to put myself in an uncomfortable position. That’s why I like travelling alone. Travelling alone does something to you. Through the journey of the film, the characters recognize each other’s emptiness and discover themselves and love as well.” Presented by Red Chillies Entertainment, Jab Harry met Sejal is directed by Imtiaz Ali and is releasing in cinemas on 4th August. Selected tickets are now on sale at www.JabHarryMetSejal.co.uk.
