Madame Tussauds in Delhi has debuted Madhubala’s wax figure. Madhubala was one of classical Bollywood’s iconic actress who graced the screens with her legendary character “Anarkali” from Mughal-e-Azam, which was one of Bollywood’s most memorable films. Times of India reported that the figure was created by a special team in Delhi. The process took over six months to create the wax figure of Madhubala with fabrics, and accessories sourced from India.
As reported by Times of India, Anshul Jain, General Manager, Merlin Entertainments India Pvt Ltd, said that they are very happy to be unveiling Madhubala’s figure in Delhi. He said,
“Madame Tussauds is known for bringing together the much-idolized icons around the world for their various contributions on a single platform, offering their followers a platform to admire and capture exceptional artwork. Madhubala is unarguably one of the most beautiful women the world has seen and her aura remains among her fans even today,”
